  • The GOP operative’s Ford Expedition was struck on the passenger side by a pick-up truck he claims ran a red light
  • Stone was riding in the back of the car on his way to host his daily politics show, The Stone Zone, when the crash happened shortly after 3.30pm

  • ‘He walked away from it shaken but without a scratch,’ Nydia said in a post
  •  Stone said surviving the crash was one of ‘five miracles’ in his life: ‘Another second and just five feet, and the pickup truck would’ve hit my door’

Roger Stone says it’s a miracle he wasn’t hurt Wednesday afternoon when the luxury SUV he rode to a television appearance near Memphis, Tenn., was violently hit by another vehicle.

Two bodyguards in the car with Stone, Donald Trump’s political consultant and confidante, suffered minor cuts from flying glass.

But neither they nor Stone were taken to the hospital after they were checked out by ambulance crews dispatched to the scene.

In an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com, Stone said the black late-model Ford Expedition where he was a passenger on the back seat was t-boned by a pickup truck that, according to Stone, failed to stop at a red light.

Stone said he was on his way to host The Stone Zone, his daily political show that airs on the television stations of Conservative My Pillow pitchman and fellow Trump associate Mike Lindell.

The accident occurred shortly after 3:30 p.m. in Germantown, Tenn., a suburb of Memphis.

While he lives in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., the 70-year-old Stone was in Tennessee for TV appearances on Lindell’s network during coverage of the midterm elections.

Stone said he’s lucky the pickup truck hit the Ford on the front of the passenger’s side instead of the back.

‘Another second and just five feet, and the pickup truck would’ve hit my door,’ he said. ‘It’s a miracle.

‘It’s one of five miracles in my life. The first was when the president (Trump) commuted my sentence; the second was when the president granted me an unconditional pardon at Christmas 2020; the third is that my wife is cancer free 18 months after undergoing treatment for a Stage 4 cancer; and the fourth is that I never left my hotel room during the January 6 events.

‘This crash was my fifth miracle. I don’t know how many I’ve got left.’

Stone said it looked like his SUV was totaled as it attempted to turn left at an intersection where there had been a fender bender minutes earlier.

‘That guy came out of nowhere through the red light at 50 miles per hour,’ Stone said.

Stone said he was thrown to the floor in the back of the car but didn’t even suffer aches and pains common to car accident victims.

And Stone made it to Lindell’s studios on time for the start of his 4 p.m. show.

‘It wasn’t a great experience but I’m grateful it turned out the way it did,’ Stone said.

Stone has been Trump’s political advisor and confidante for decades and was instrumental in getting Trump elected to the White House in 2016.

Stone, however, became a target for the Federal Bureau of Investigations soon after the election for his role in the alleged collusion between Russian operatives and Trump’s campaign.

Stone was arrested at his Fort Lauderdale home in an early morning raid in January 2019 and charged with witness tampering, obstructing an official proceeding and making false statements. The indictment was a result of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation.

In November 2019, Stone was convicted of all counts and sentenced to 40 months in prison.

Trump commuted Stone’s sentence just weeks before he was to report to prison then pardoned him outright two days before Christmas 2020.

About the accident, meanwhile, Stone made a point to say that no one should see a conspiracy into the crash.

‘The other motorist didn’t do it on purpose,’ Stone said. ‘This was not a hit.’
